The investigation into Chatham County chief tax appraiser Gary Udinsky is still going strong, and today the board of assessors decided to extend his current suspension until Friday.
Udinsky's office has come under fire for making several mistakes in assessing the values of hundreds of homes in Chatham County. The board questioned his practices and suspended Udinsky for a second time in less than a year.
The board is expected to talk with Udinsky in the next week; we'll keep you posted when a decision is made.
