SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - This week is the first anniversary of the Imperial Sugar explosion in Port Wentworth.
Many will be holding memorial services this week in honor of the victims, their families and first responders.
The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance, Savannah Baptist Ministers and the Savannah Business League will be hosting an Imperial Sugar memorial service.
The service will be held on Thursday, February 5 from 6:30pm to 8pm at the St. Phillips Monumental AME Church at 1112 Jefferson Street in Savannah.

Another memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, February 7 at 11am at Legacy Park, 201 Oxnard Drive in Port Wentworth (the park is located on Imperial Sugar property).
