The first attempt at building a new CAT transfer station failed, now it's round two. Today, city, county, and CAT officials, along with several members from the public, met with a professional mediator. For the next few days, they'll go over some options on a new location for the proposed station.
"We'll rank sights in priority, fashion," explained Chatham Area Transit's Scott Lansing. "We'll take that ranking, then we'll take it to our board for a final decision."
They'll start brainstorming again tomorrow at the Savannah Civic Center's third floor ballroom, from 11am to 3pm. It's open to the public.
