No final decisions have been made regarding the future of Chatham County chief appraiser Gary Udinsky. He was supposed to be at the board of assessors meeting today, but wrote a letter citing personal reasons for not being able to attend, and he requested that the board postpone any decisions regarding his job until November 12.
The board agreed, and voted to keep him on administrative leave without pay until the November 12 meeting.
We'll keep you posted on this continuing story.
