SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A three-year-old was grazed by a bullet in a shooting that happened at a Savannah business, Thursday afternoon.
Police say it happened in the 1500 block of Georgia Avenue. As police search for the person responsible, people who live in the area are very concerned, but thankful that the child was not seriously hurt.
“I just glad nobody got killed. My daughter was in the yard when it happened and she said she jumped in the car because she could have gotten shot, so I just thank God that she didn’t get killed or anything, but I’m going to move from around here. That’s it. Just, enough is enough," said neighbor, Wynette Jackson.
The child’s mother tells WTOC she took the toddler to the hospital for treatment.
