SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A recent renovation at Memorial Health aimed at helping those with mental health conditions.
A brand-new look was given to the first floor of the Behavioral Health Services building, giving the unit a much-needed face lift for patient care and safety.
HCA purchased the hospital just about a year ago and upgrading the behavioral health building was a primary goal.
“It was a primary initiative. (HCA) looked around at our building and environment and decided to do a much-needed renovation. It’s now a much better environment for staff to work in and patients to recover in,” Dr. Stephen Yost, the Medical Director of Behavioral Health said.
The new look features new furniture, a large outdoor courtyard and a dedicated space for an intensive outpatient program.
