SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Mostly cloudy with isolated showers this afternoon as highs climb to the mid 60s. Isolated showers continue moving toward the coast into the evening, with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s after sunset. Temperatures will only fall to the mid 50s overnight with isolated showers exiting the area.
We’ll make it all the way up to the lower 70s Saturday afternoon before a cold front moves in late Saturday into Sunday. This line of showers and weak thunderstorms will move in to our western communities just before midnight on Saturday, pushing toward the coast overnight and moving offshore by sunrise. Temperatures will begin to tumble Sunday with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Monday morning will be very chilly with wind chills in the 20s for most of the Low Country and Coastal Empire. There will be sunshine, but temperatures will only top out in the 40s Monday afternoon.
