SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - It was a Savannah State sweep over Morgan State for the Tigers Monday night at Tiger Arena.

The women set the tone for the conference clashes with an easy win, while the men earned their fourth consecutive victory.

SAVANNAH STATE 88, MORGAN STATE 85 (Men)

Savannah State trailed by at least double digits in the first half Monday, but rallied back to earn their 4th straight victory.

Jaquan Dotson led the way with 18 points, while Tyrell Harper contributed 17 points and nine assists off the bench.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 9-15 overall and 6-4 in MEAC play.

SAVANNAH STATE 53, MORGAN STATE 35 F (Women)

Jalea Gray scored 17 points to pace the Tiger attack, while Alexxus Sowell gathered in 10 rebounds, as the Tigers picked up a second straight victory.

The win propels SSU to a 6-13 overall record, and 4-6 in MEAC play.
