SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A fundraiser was held Friday night in Savannah benefiting an organization known for helping kids.
The 9th Annual ‘Chefs and Chocolates’ event took place at the Charles Morris Center.
Ticket holders enjoyed delicious treats and took part in a silent auction. All proceeds went toward Urban Hope, an after-school program for local, at-risk youth.
“It is an event to raise money for our summer camp, which is for Urban Hope for 95 children in Savannah that’s completely free to them, so it’s a big night for Urban Hope,” said Cassie Beckworth.
WTOC’s own Cyreia Sandlin was the Mistress of Ceremonies for the event.
