SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Today is a First Alert Weather Day. Numerous thunderstorms, including some severe storms, will impact the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry late this morning and afternoon. A lot of information is going to be thrown your way through the weather event. This is a revolving thread of weather and community information - a “home base” of key weather information.
2:24 p.m. - The Tornado Watch has been canceled in Bryan, Bulloch, Candler, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Tattnall counties in Georgia. The watch has also been canceled in Beaufort and Jasper counties in South Carolina.
2:05 p.m. - We have started a slideshow of reported storm damage across the WTOC viewing area:
2:00 p.m. - Reports of damage in Jesup. A WTOC crew is at the scene.

1:11 p.m. - All Tornado Warnings expired in the WTOC viewing area. Many counties still remain under a Tornado Watch until 6 p.m.
1:10 p.m. - Tornado Warning has expired in Chatham County.
1:02 p.m. - Tornado Warning issued for northwest Chatham County until 1:15 p.m.
12:57 p.m. - Play suspended at the RBC Heritage due to severe weather threat.
12:52 p.m. - Tornado Warning issued for Rincon, Hardeeville, Stillwell until 1:15 p.m.
12:49 - Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, and Beaufort until 1:45 p.m.
12:50 p.m. - Tornado Warning issued for Screven County until 1:30 p.m.
12:39 p.m. - RBC Heritage update: The course at Harbour Town is now closed to spectators.
12:29 p.m. Storm Prediction Center increased our risks of severe weather for Chatham County & Effingham County into the Lowcountry.
12:30 p.m. - Meteorologist Andrew Gorton is in the WTOC Storm Chaser on I-16, heading back toward Savannah.

12:10 p.m. - Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Savannah, Hinesville, Statesboro, GA until 1:15 p.m.
12:10 p.m. - Tornado Warning issued for Brunswick, Saint Simons, Arco, GA until 1 p.m.
