SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - There is a new historic marker in downtown Savannah honoring an important woman in Georgia’s history.
The Andrew Low House tweeted a picture of the ceremony for the Mary Musgrove marker that was held over the weekend.
Musgrove was General James Oglethorpe's main interpreter as he went through peace and trade negotiations with the Creek Indian nation.
This marker is now in Lafayette Square.
