CHATHAM COUNTY, GA (WTOC) - The 7th Annual State of Small Business in Chatham County was presented during an event held at Savannah Technical College on Wednesday.
Five area experts presented reports on measurable benchmarks relating to the health of Savannah’s small business community. Speakers also held a round-table to discuss the implications of the data with the small business owners who attended the event.
The goal is to help small business owners make informed decisions and to thank them for the contributions they make to the local economy.
“It’s National Small Business Week,” said Tony O’Reilly, President, Small Business Assistance Corp. “This is our celebration.”
“I’m personally honored to be a part of the Savannah business community because they are so active,” Dean Burnette, Managing Broker, Best Business Brokers. “They are as passionate as I am about their businesses. There’s a good turnout at events, good interaction with business owners, even competitors.”
Displays were also set up, providing numerous resources for local small business owners.
