SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A few clouds are around early this Thursday morning with lows in the upper 50s inland, lower 60s along I-95 and near 70 right along the coast. There are a few showers in western Georgia this morning, but our rain chance remains under 20s percent today. Temperatures climb near 80 by noon under partly cloudy skies. An isolated shower or two will be possible this afternoon, but most of us will remain dry with highs in the mid 80s.
Our warming trend continues Friday into the weekend. Temperatures will be about 5 degrees warmer heading out the door Friday morning under mostly clear skies. A few inland communities even have the chance of hitting 90 degrees. This dry and warm weather is good news for outdoor weekend plans, but remember to hydrate! The air will be more humid with highs near 90s inland and low to mid 80s right along the beaches.
There is not a cool down in sight heading into next week, with highs remaining above our average high of 85 degrees for this time of the year. There’s a slight rain chance on Tuesday, but I wouldn’t count on a shower from mother nature to help your lawn.
