Red flags warning swimmers of potentially dangerous water conditions on Tybee Island

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (WTOC) - Red flags are flying on Tybee Island beaches Saturday.

Red flags mean swimmers should use caution.

Tybee Island Ocean Rescue Lifeguards made a post on Facebook announcing that there is a hazard warning for water conditions.

Rip currents, large swells, and rain bands coming from the northeast are making conditions potentially dangerous, according to Tybee Island Ocean Rescue Lifeguards.

8/31/19 Tybee Island Ocean Rescue Lifeguards will be flying RED flags today as Hurricane Dorian continues to approach...
