SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A historic piece of Savannah is under new ownership.
Savannah City Council has approved the sale of the 73-year-old former fire station at 6 West Henry St. It was sold to Inman Park Properties, which closed on the deal this week.
The developer says they paid $1.05 million for the 6,600 square-foot building.
The new owner says they plan on re-purposing the building into a restaurant that will generate 75 full-time jobs.
