Thank you for the opportunity to serve as the Effingham County School Superintendent. This is my 32nd year in education and 15th year since my appointment as Superintendent back in 2005. This has been a remarkable journey for me both personally and professionally, and for that I am forever grateful.

Moving forward, my intent is to retire at the end of my current contract which expires on June 30, 2020. My passion for learning and desire for student success will always be an important part of my life and future. Thanks again for the opportunity to serve, and I look forward to seeing the continued success of the school district."

He was appointed as superintendent in 2005.

He’ll be retiring in June of 2020.
