SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The city of Savannah officially kicked off its United Way Campaign on Tuesday.

The city announced its fundraising goal of $225,000 for this year's campaign. The overall goal for the United Way of the Coastal Empire for 2019 is $8,150,000.

City of Savanah Mayor Eddie DeLoach, other city leaders, and this year’s United Way of the Coastal Empire Chairman Ken Rabitsch with Synovus Bank - was also at Tuesday’s event.
