Savannah Food & Wine Festival: Savannah Quarters cooking up seared smoked pork belly with a BBQ gastrique

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Food and Wine Festival is officially underway.

On Sunday, November 10, an event called “Savor the Flavor” will take place at The Club at Savannah Quarters. Chef Jay Cantrell with Savannah Quarters stopped by WTOC’s kitchen to show how to cook his take on some Southern classics. He made seared smoked pork belly with a BBQ gastrique, along with a cracked pepper and vinegar slaw.
