Storm Damage: Reports of damage in Appling, Bacon, Wayne counties

GEORGIA (WTOC) - The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office shared images with WTOC of a car damaged when a tree fell on it.

Bacon County Emergency Management Agency reports that about a dozen trees have fallen, but were being cleaned up quickly.

Appling County Emergency Management Agency confirms a tree fell across the roadway and a car driving on Saltilla Church Road hit it Thursday evening.

They say it happened around 7 p.m. and the woman in the car was not injured. The car she was driving was badly damaged.
