SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Police’s Traffic Investigation Unit is looking for a driver who seriously injured a woman in a hit-and-run crash near Montgomery and Congress streets Sunday night.

It happened just before 9 p.m. Police say the woman was taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. They say the suspect’s vehicle was located in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue but they have not found the driver.

The suspect is described as a medium build dark-skinned man wearing a black and green shirt with jeans, standing at 6′3″ and weighing 200 pounds.
