SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department has made an arrested for a Feb. 28 homicide on Florance Street.

A 16-year-old has been charged with murder. He turned himself into police on Thursday, April 2.

The Savannah Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Friday just before 5 p.m.

The police department responded to the area of Florance and Orchard streets.

Officers found 18-year-old Steven Meimen, II on the scene with life threatening injuries. Meimen was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Detectives continue to investigate the homicide.
