Savannah Police investigate shooting on Millen St. near Augusta Ave.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department is investigating a shooting with injuries on Millen Street, near Augusta Avenue.

Police report one person was shot just before 6:30 p.m. Monday and is suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

“One 18-year-old male was struck by a single gunshot wound, injuries are non-life threatening. This does appear to be a targeted incident. That’s all we have at this time. We do hope to put more out as soon as we have more available," said SPD Sgt. Jason Pagliaro.
