City of Savannah responds to 45,000+ gallon sewage spill

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -The City of Savannah Sewer Conveyance staff responded to multiple sewage spills on Tuesday on Grove Point Road.
More than 45,000 gallons of sewage were spilled due to damage to a wastewater force main.
Those spills are classified as major spills under the State Environmental Protection Division guidelines.
