Second Lee St. Prison inmate dies of COVID-19

LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - A second inmate has died at Lee State Prison due to COVID-19-related symptoms, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC).
The first was a 49-year-old inmate, who died on March 26 at Phoebe.
According to the GDC website, there are 13 staff and 8 inmates with confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 at the prison.
