ODUM, Ga. (WTOC) - The National Weather Service confirms a high-end EF-1 tornado touched down in Odum Monday morning, causing damage.
It touched down at 7:25 a.m. and lasted for five minutes. It touched down in the City of Odum and traveled East-Northeastward for 4.67 miles before lifting up. The maximum path width was 440 yards.
Peak winds reached 110 mph. Eight people were injured and about 35 homes were destroyed or damaged.
