UGA Athletics employee released from hospital after fight with COVID-19

ATHENS, Ga. (WTOC) - A University of Georgia Athletics employee has been released from the hospital after a six-week fight with COVID-19.

Football video coordinator, Jeremy Klawsky, was released from Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center on Thursday. He had been hospitalized for the last six weeks.

A “Hero’s Walk” was held for Klawsky.

The athletics department states Klawsky will continue to receive therapy as he recovers.
