Savannah Police investigate after two-car collision on I-95 sends 1 to hospital

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Savannah Police are investigating a two-car crash that closed I-95 for several hours on Tuesday morning.

They say a GMC Arcadia was traveling south near Jimmy DeLoach Parkway around 4:20 a.m. when it struck a Nissan Altima parked horizontally across the lanes with no lights on. The collision sent both vehicles spinning into the road.

Jaquarius Scott, 26, was in the Altima. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the Arcadia received minor injuries. They were treated and released.

The lanes have since reopened. Drive safely.
