Man charged in deadly shooting at Ridgeland motel

RIDGELAND, S.C. (WTOC) - UPDATE - A Ridgeland man is in jail after a woman was found dead in a motel back in September.

South Carolina Law Enforcement Division agents say 32-year-old Brian Jemal Redding was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 10, and charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of Cypress Noonan at a motel in Ridgeland on Sept. 6.

Redding is currently being held at the Jasper County Detention Center.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division is working with the Ridgeland Police Department to investigate a homicide.

According to SLED, one person was shot and killed. The incident occurred early Sunday morning in a motel in Ridgeland.
