CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - Chatham County government has extended the local state of emergency due to COVID-19.

A local state of emergency declaration in Chatham County has been extended for 30 more days. The order was set to expire on Thursday, Oct. 1.

Just a reminder, this does require you to wear masks in public and continue to social distance.
