Savannah State campus put on ‘soft lockdown after shots fired report

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) -Savannah State Police are investigating after receiving a report of shots that were fired off-campus in the area of Whatley and Falligant Avenue.

Savannah State urges all on the campus community to stay put and avoid the large police presence. The campus is on a soft lockdown and only residential students will be allowed on campus.
