Savannah Police investigating fatal shooting on W. Julian St.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department is investigating a New Year’s Day shooting on West Julian Street that left two injured and one dead.

The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. at Tree House. When officers arrived they found Corey Vance, 26, and another male with shooting injuries. They were both taken to the hospital where Vance later died from his injuries.

Later Friday morning, officers were notified about a third shooting victim from the incident who arrived at the hospital by private vehicle. The woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are currently working on leads and do not believe this is a random shooting.
