CLEMSON, S.C. (WTOC) - As expected, Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence is skipping his senior season with the Tigers to enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
Lawrence, the expected #1 overall pick, officially announced his intentions by tweeting a video thanking Clemson and Tiger fans.
Lawrence ends his career as a Tiger with a 34-2 career record as a starting QB. He led Clemson to the 2018 national title, three College Football Playoff appearances, and three ACC titles. Lawrence is third in Clemson program history in passing yards and second in touchdown passes.
The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the top pick in the 2021 Draft, and it’s likely they select Lawrence.
