Bradwell Institute’s football coach steps down

According to a press release from the Liberty County School System, Bradwell Institute’s Head Football Coach, Kyle Adkins, has stepped down.

HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - According to a press release from the Liberty County School System, Bradwell Institute’s Head Football Coach, Kyle Adkins, has stepped down.

Principal, Roland Van Horn said in the release, “We appreciate the service Coach Adkins gave to Bradwell Institute and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

The Tigers finished the 2020 season 0-7-1. In his first season, Adkins’ team went 3-7.

The release also stated that, “The standard process will be followed to fill the position. The school district is committed to recruiting a suitable replacement for the benefit of our student-athletes and community.”

A spokeswoman with LCSS also confirmed he is no longer serving as Athletic Director at Bradwell.
