“Here Cometh The Dreamer” Honors Life and Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.

STATESBORO, Ga. (WTOC) - The Averitt Center for the Arts has planned a tribute to the life of Martin Luther King Junior in Statesboro.

Local artists will be reciting the works of African-American poets in an event in honor of Doctor King. The event will include a combination of spoken word and musical performances.

It is happening Friday, January 15 at 7:30. You can watch the performance at the Emma Kelly Theater in Statesboro. Masks are required, and social distancing is enforced.
