Pinewood Christian baseball wins program’s first state championship

After falling in the first game of the series, the Pinewood Christian Patriots rallied back to win the next two, and claim their program’s first Georgia Independent School Association state baseball championship Saturday night over Tiftarea Academy.

MACON, Ga. (WTOC) - After falling in the first game of the series, the Pinewood Christian Patriots rallied back to win the next two, and claim their program’s first Georgia Independent School Association state baseball championship Saturday night over Tiftarea Academy.

PCA took game two 6-3, and game three 4-3, respectively. The games were played at Mercer University.

The Patriots finish the year with a 29-9 overall record.
