RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WTOC) - Emergency crews responded to a bomb threat at the Kroger on Highway 144 in Richmond Hill.

Captain Sykes of the Richmond Hill Police Department says that the location received an anonymous call about a bomb threat. He says multiple units including the Chatham County and the Long County sheriff’s offices responded.

Officers found nothing suspicious, but they are investigating the origin of the call.

Capt. Sykes says it was probably an internet app-based phone number.
