2 men shot in Beaufort, several cars damaged

BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) - Beaufort Police officers responded to several reports of gunshots in the area of The Elk’s Lodge Sunday around 8:00 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot.
The man was taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital by EMS.
This incident took place at 806 Church Street.
Officials say another adult male was taken to the hospital by a private car.
They say they recovered numerous handgun cartridges and several cars were damaged by gunfire.
This is an ongoing investigation.
