HILTON HEAD, S.C. (WTOC) - A return to a full capacity heritage meant a test for supply of concessions and merchandise, a test they were up for.

“It’s went off without a hitch in my eyes.”

He says cooking food for tens of thousands of people a day went smoothly.

“I don’t even know where to start. We’ve done probably a couple thousand cold sandwiches, probably 5000 burgers and it goes on and on and on,” Chris Carge, Culinary Director, SERG Group said.

On the food side I’m told they didn’t run out of anything all weekend, but the same can’t be said about the store where they prepared the best they could.

“A lot of our tartan plaid is gone, still have some hats though which is nice. We prepared really well in that area,” Eric Funk, working in Merchandise Tent said.

Merchandise sales hit record levels with so many people making their way here over the last week.

“Love to see all the patrons out here so excited about the heritage but it was extremely busy. Some numbers we’ve never seen.”

Sales, we know, from both areas that will benefit low country charities.
