Houlihan Bridge, GA 25 reopened

PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) - UPDATE: The Houlihan Bridge and GA State Route 25 have been reopened.
The Port Wentworth Police Department said GDOT was able to respond, assess and fix the issue.
PREVIOUS STORY: The Houlihan Bridge has been shut down due to safety concerns, closing GA State Route 25, according to the Port Wentworth Police Department.
GA 25 is closed in both directions. According to police, the road could be closed for a few hours, but a specific timeframe is not certain.
