Guyton man killed by drunk driver in President Street crash, according to police

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Police have charged a Savannah woman with homicide by vehicle after a crash that killed a motorcyclist at President Street and Harry Truman Parkway on June 1.
According to the Savannah Police Department, 43-year-old Colleen Mond is charged with DUI less safe, homicide by vehicle – first degree, and failure to yield.
According to the preliminary investigation, 24-year-old Steen Fagan, of Guyton, was traveling westbound on President Street around 8:15 p.m. when he was hit by Mond.
Police say Mond was traveling eastbound on President Street when the driver attempted to turn left onto Harry Truman Parkway, striking the motorcycle.
The crash remains under investigation.
