LIST: School closures due to Idalia

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - School districts in the WTOC viewing area could be making schedule changes due to any possible impacts from Idalia.

WTOC will add to this list as more closures are announced.

Appling County School System - Will be closed on Wednesday, Aug 30, Thursday, Aug. 31, and Friday, Sept. 1.
Bacon County School District - will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30, Thursday, Aug 31 and Friday, Sept. 1.
Beaufort County School District - Will have eLearning and remote work days on Wednesday, August 30th and Thursday, August 31th.
Benedictine will have a half-day of virtual learning on Wednesday, Aug. 30. School will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 31. The previously scheduled half-day of virtual learning on Friday will continue.
Bethesda Academy will cancel classes on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Bryan County Schools - will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Bulloch Academy - will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31
Bulloch County Schools - will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31. All after care services, athletics, and extracurricular activities are canceled.
Candler County Schools will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 31.
Effingham County Schools - Will be closed on Wednesday, Aug 30. and Thursday, Aug. 31. School will resume Friday, Sept. 1.
Evans County Charter School System - will close on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
First Christian Academy in Richmond Hill will be closed Wednesday 8/30 and Thursday 8/3.
First Preparatory Christian Academy in Hinesville is closed Wednesday, Aug. 30.
Georgia Southern University - Will shift to virtual learning on Wednesday Aug 30. and Thursday Aug. 31. All University-sponsored events are canceled.
Habersham School will close on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Hampton County School District will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Hancock Day School will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Jasper County, S.C. schools will move to virtual learning on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Jeff Davis County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Liberty County School System - Will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Long County School System - Will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31. All after-school meetings and sports will also be canceled.
McIntosh County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30. and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Montgomery County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30. and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Ogeechee Tech will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, August 31. The College will resume normal operations on Tuesday, Sept. 5.
Pinewood Christian Academy will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Primrose School of Godley Station will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Saint Leo University will be closed on Thursday, Aug. 31.
Savannah-Chatham County Public School System - Will close in-person learning and shift to virtual learning on Wednesday Aug 30. and Thursday Aug. 31.
Savannah Legacy Academy will be closed to in-person learning on Wednesday, Aug. 30 through Thursday, Aug. 31.
Savannah State University is moving classes online starting Wednesday, Aug. 30 through Friday, Sept. 1.
Savannah Tech will close on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Online classes for Wednesday will take place as scheduled, and in-person classes will proceed as virtual classes, where possible.
Screven County Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Step of Faith Christian Academy located in Ridgeland will be closed Wednesday and Thursday.
Tattnall County Schools will be closed on Wednesday August 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Technical College of the Lowcountry will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Toombs County Schools will be out on Wednesday, Aug. 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
Vidalia City Schools will be closed on Wednesday, Aug. 30. Teachers, students, and staff should report Thursday morning at the normal time.
Wayne County School System - Will be closed on Wednesday, Aug 30 and Thursday, Aug. 31.
