Bacon Co. EMA director discusses damage seen from Helene

BACON COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - WTOC spoke to the Bacon County EMA director Danny Turner on The News at Daybreak.

Turner spoke about what damage the county has seen from Helene so far.

Turner said they’ve had reported of no less than probably five dozen major sized trees down. He also said they’ve had at least two dozen reports of homes with major damage.

Turner says they’ve also been without power at the Bacon Co. EOC since midnight so they are limited on what information they are receiving and what information they can give out.
