2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run canceled due to ‘circumstances beyond our control’

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The 2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run scheduled for December was cancelled.

A post on the Enmarket Bridge Run website said the cancellation is due to upcoming renovations to the Talmadge Memorial Bridge.

The annual event invites participants to challenge the 5.5% slope of the Talmadge Memorial Bridge by taking part in a 5K, 10K and a 15K on the first Saturday of each December.

“We have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run,” said the post. “We know this is disappointing news. The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run has become a special tradition for so many runners, walkers, volunteers and community partners, and we’re incredibly disappointed that circumstances beyond our control have prevented us from bringing the event to you this year.”
