Health Break: Mediation Center youth initiatives

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Through its partnership with the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools District, the Mediation Center of the Coastal Empire has been paying increased attention to the mental wellness of young people by adding popular youth initiatives to its program lineup.

In addition to its Peer Mediation and Positive Peer Influencer programs in SCCPSS schools, the Mediation Center recently added the Flip the Script program that helps underserved teens and young adults develop the skills needed to navigate conflict, manage emotions and make positive life choices.

On International Youth Day and for this week’s Health Break, Sherlisa Praylo and Taylor Warren, of the Mediation Center to discuss the youth initiatives and how young people can get involved in them.
