Becky Sattero joins the WTOC Team as a Host for The Afternoon Break, weekdays at 3:00 PM.
The Portland, Oregon native joins WTOC from Los Angeles, California. Prior to relocating to Savannah, she worked as a sports, entertainment, and lifestyle host for organizations such as AfterBuzz TV, FAB TV, Pop Hearts TV, The Los Angeles Clippers, The Los Angeles Kings, Pure Flix Entertainment, and more.
Becky began her hosting career after graduating from California State University in Northridge, where she earned her BFA in theater and journalism. She was offered the opportunity to host and produce a sports podcast called, “The Weekly Pass” in addition to serving as the In-Arena Host for the Los Angeles Clippers.
She had the privilege of creating her own talk show—streaming worldwide—for Pure Flix Entertainment, called “The Third Act” where she worked as host, writer, and executive producer.
She graduated from Mount Saint Mary’s University with an MFA in Creative Writing. She continues to write screenplays and poetry for film.
In her spare time, Becky enjoys the outdoors, playing and watching ice hockey, archery, crafting, and interior design. She is thrilled to explore the serene Savannah area right next to her beloved golden retriever, Penny.
