SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - The Calvary Baseball team's magical run through the Georgia Class A State playoffs continues!!!! The Cavs beat a tough Bremen squad 1-0 in game one of a pitcher's duel between Calvary's Beau Smith and the Blue Devils Jay Wade. But it was Smith on the winning end of a 1 to nothing shut out. Smith pitched a complete game to earn the win.

In game two, Bremen jumped out to a 1 nothing lead. The Cavs tied it on a Cody Padgett sac fly but the Blue Devils jumped back on top 2-1. That was the last of the scoring by Bremen. John Carr kept the Devils in check while the Cavs broke the game open. Sky Strickland got the party started with a two run double to right field that scored two runs putting the Cavs up 3-2 and on top for good.

Calvary sweeps the series and moves on to the final four next week.
