STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) - Jenny Lynn Anderson debuted and autographed books for a huge crowd at Forest Heights Country Club. "Room 939" is Anderson's story of being the victim of a sexual assault in a hotel while she traveled on business 20 years ago.

The book addresses the emotions and traumas women experience after this crime. Anderson said she started the book a year ago as a means of therapy after suppressing the issue for so long.

"It took me 20 years to do this. For so long, I couldn't share this and couldn't do this like so many victims of sexual assault do. That doesn't help you, it's actually the wrong way to do it. You need to open up and talk to people," she explained.
