Officials say no live music on River Street for St. Patrick's Day
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Officials have announced that there will be no live music at all this year for the St. Patrick's Day Festival on River Street.
It is only two weeks away, and as WTOC first told you last night, at least seven bands who had been signed up to perform have been told their talents are not needed. WTOC learned today that after being told at least one band would perform Saturday night, now, no bands will be performing.
Only a DJ will spin music on River Street for the first time since the late 90's. Bars and restaurants will still have live music inside their establishments.
