JEKYLL ISLAND, GA (WTOC) - The Georgia Literary Festival is coming to the Golden Isles for the first time.

It'll be hosted by the College of Coastal Georgia, the Golden Isles Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Jekyll Island authority.

The event is in November and it'll be held at Jekyll Island's new convention center that's still under construction.

The 14-year-old festival is sponsored by the Georgia Center for the Book and the Georgia Humanities Council.

Participating authors include Mary Kay Andrews, Steve Berry, Jeffrey Small, Tina McElroy Ansa, June Hall McCash, Jack McDevitt, Pamela Bauer Mueller, William Rawlings Jr. and Janisse Ray.

It celebrates exceptional writing in a different part of the state every year.
