BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) - She was supposed to be taking care of the elderly but instead she stole from them. Police in the lowcountry say Alexis Chisolm, 21, took several rings from residents at Morningside Assisted Living in Beaufort, where she was employed.

Investigators recovered the stolen jewelry at Freddie's Trading Post and were able to link the items to Chisolm through sales records.
